Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our painting services, process, preparation, and warranties.
Yes, absolutely. We are fully registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) under license number OR CCB #174196 | WA LICENSE #PROFEOP912JC. Working with a licensed contractor protects you from liability and guarantees we adhere to strict state standards.
We believe in long-lasting finishes, which is why we strictly use premium-grade paints from industry-leading manufacturers, primarily Rodda Paint, Sherwin-Williams, and Miller Paint. During your consultation, we will recommend the specific line that fits your budget and property needs.
Preparation is 90% of a quality paint job. For exteriors, we pressure wash, scrape loose paint, sand rough spots, prime bare wood, caulk seams/cracks, and mask all windows/landscaping. For interiors, we protect floors/furniture, repair drywall dents or holes, sand trim, and clean surfaces before applying paint.
An average-sized residential exterior takes about 3 to 5 days, depending on weather conditions and the level of prep work required. Interior projects depend on the number of rooms but typically average 2 to 4 days. We provide a detailed project timeline in our estimate and work consistently until the job is completed.
Safety and quality are our priorities. We closely monitor local Oregon weather. If unexpected rain occurs, we immediately halt painting, cover the work, and resume only when the wood or siding has thoroughly dried. We never paint on damp surfaces as it ruins adhesion and voids the warranty.
Yes! We stand behind our craftsmanship. We back our paint application with a structural guarantee alongside the manufacturer product warranties (which often extend up to limited-lifetime coverage). We perform a walk-through with you at the end of the project to ensure you are 100% satisfied before we ask for final payment.
Yes! Choosing the right color can be overwhelming. We provide a free color consultation with every booked project. We help you explore color trends that complement Pacific Northwest light, test samples on your walls, and find the perfect balance.
